The Dark Room is an installation, consists of a chamber which is 1.8m by 1.3m and 2.2m height. On the outer surface of the chamber, a frame is hung with a dot in its center. According to the basic principles of visual arts, this composition is the simplest and most neutral one that invites the audience to pass through this frame and enter the room, enter the depth of the work and become a part of the it eventually.

On the other side of the chamber is a door to the inner space. interior surfaces of the white room are completely black and dark, and from the only hole in the wall behind the picture frame, the inverted world is engraved on the opposite wall. This image is in fact a reflection of what is happening in the outside world. Overturning places, people and concepts is one of the main themes of this piece.

The image created will be without my intervention as an artist and without the intervention of tools, lenses, subject selection, etc., and I will try to have the least involvement in the process of creating, presenting and displaying the art piece. Simultaneous presence of the subject and the audience creates the effect. In fact, what audience encounters is not affected by my presence at all. One of the most important elements of this work is the world outside the work and the environment around it.

The existence and survival of the piece occurs only because of simultaneously of the audience, light, place, tools, time and perception of the audience. Therefore, the image exists only in a moment and is removed by removing each of the components of the work. A work that is nothing but a ray of light from the bright outside world. Therefore, the result will not be a marketable object.

The darkroom is a device that has served astronomers, thinkers, and scholars long before the advent of photography by shrinking images of the world around them, and in order to know, discover, explore, and ultimately master it. The image created in the dark room shrinks a part of the world around it and exposes it so that it can be recognized more accurately.

اتاق تاریک متشکل است از اتاقکی به ابعاد 180 سانتی متر در 130 سانتی متر. روی سطح بیرونی اتاقک تابلویی با یک نقطه در مرکز آن آویخته شده است. با توجه به مبانی پایه ای هنرهای تجسمی این ترکیب بندی ساده ترین و خنثی ترین حالت ممکن است که از مخاطب دعوت میکند که از این قاب عبور کرده و با ورود به داخل اتاقک، وارد عمق کار شده و خود به بخشی از اثر تبدیل شود.

در یک ضلع دیگر اتاق، دری قرار دارد. سطوح داخلی اتاقک سفید، کاملا سیاه است و تاریک و از تنها روزن روی دیوار پشت قاب تصویر واژگون دنیای بیرون بر دیوار مقابل آن نقش میبندد. این تصویر در واقع بازتابی از اتفاقات جهان بیرون اثر است. واژگونی مکان، آدمها و مفاهیم یکی از موضوعات اصلی کار است.

تصویر ساخته شده بدون دخالت من بعنوان هنرمند و بدون دخالت ابزار، لنز، انتخاب سوژه و … خواهد بود و من سعی دارم که در فرآیند خلق و ارائه و نمایش اثر کمترین دخالت را داشته باشم. هم زمانی حضور سوژه و مخاطب باعث خلق اثر میشود. در واقع رویارویی مخاطب قبل از حضور من در اثر اتفاق می افتد. یکی از مهمترین المان های این کار، جهان بیرون اثر و محیط پیرامون آن است.

موجودیت و بقای اثر تنها در هم زمانی مخاطب، نور، مکان، ابزار، زمان و درک مخاطب اتفاق می افتد. بنا بر این تصویر تنها در یک لحظه وجود پیدا میکند و با حذف هر یک از اجزا اثر از بین میرود. اثری که هیچ نیست مگر پرتو نوری از جهان روشن بیرون آن. بنا بر این نتیجه کار یک شیئ قابل فروش نخواهد بود.

اتاق تاریک وسیله ای است که با کوچک کردن تصاویر از جهان پیرامون، مدتها قبل از ظهور عکاسی در خدمت منجمان، متفکران و عالمان و در راستای شناخت، مکاشفه، کند و کاو و در نهایت تسلط بر آن بوده است. تصویر ایجاد شده در اتاق تاریک، بخشی از دنیای اطراف را کوچک میکند و آن را در معرض دید قرار میدهد که بتوان بصورت دقیقتر آن را شناخت.
